Countertops in Vallejo, CA
Quartz and stone counters templated to your cabinets and set with clean seams.
What to know about countertops
The counter is the most-used surface in the house, so it has to look good and hold up. Whether you pick quartz, granite or another material, a counter is only as good as its template and installation, since a quarter-inch error in a measurement becomes a visible gap at the wall.
Our countertop photos show a bright white quartz counter paired with honey oak cabinets, a clean seam along an L-shaped run, and an undermount sink cut cleanly into the stone. Every one began with a careful template taken after the cabinets were in.
Countertops are also a chance to rethink the layout. Adding a peninsula with seating or extending the run near the stove often matters more than the material.
Edges and overhangs deserve a decision of their own. A standard overhang gives knees and stools room at a peninsula, while a thicker built-up edge reads as a heavier, more custom counter. Along the wall, a backsplash tile that meets the counter with a slim caulk line looks cleaner than one that stops short, so we confirm the tile height and the counter thickness together before fabrication begins.

When counters need replacing
- Chips, cracks or burn marks that cannot be repaired.
- Seams that trap dirt or have separated.
- Laminate that is peeling or swollen near the sink.
- A layout with too little prep space.
- A remodel where old counters clash with new cabinets or tile.
How countertop installation works
Choose the material
We help you compare slabs and decide on thickness, edge and color.
Template
After cabinets are set, the counter is measured with a template for exact dimensions, including sink and cooktop cutouts.
Fabricate and deliver
The slab is cut and finished, then delivered and carried into the home.
Set and seal
The counters are set level, seams are blended, the sink is mounted and any required sealing is done.

What affects the cost of countertops
Counter pricing depends on a few choices. The main factors:
Material
Quartz, granite and other stones differ in price and maintenance.
Square footage and seams
Larger layouts use more material and need more seams.
Edge profile and thickness
A thicker or more decorative edge takes more fabrication time.
Cutouts and sink type
Undermount sinks and cooktops require precise cutouts.

Countertops FAQs
Should I choose quartz or granite?
Quartz is uniform and low-maintenance. Granite is natural, with more variation, and needs periodic sealing. Both last for decades.
How long does a counter take to arrive?
Fabrication usually starts after the template, so plan for a week or more between template and installation.
Can you replace counters without replacing cabinets?
Yes, as long as the cabinets are level and sound. We check them before templating.
Do you install the sink?
Yes. Undermount and drop-in sinks, along with faucets, are installed as part of the job.
Will I have seams?
Most layouts have at least one seam, which a good fabricator and installer will blend. We plan seam locations to be inconspicuous.
